Biography
Themos is the managing director at Orion Delta Technologies, specializing in creating innovative hardware system components for energy, optical, and radio frequency applications, using advanced materials, metamaterials, and functional films. Themos led the R&D efforts at Meta Materials Inc., serving as co-founder and Chief Science Officer. At Meta Materials, he was instrumental in bringing metamaterial-based technologies such as NANOWEB (now metamaterial mesh) to commercial development. He is the inventor of over 100 patents and has authored over 100 publications in applied physics, electromagnetics and metamaterials. He is a member of the leadership team and end user group of the UK Metamaterials Network. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and earlier studied electrical & computer engineering at the National Technical University of Athens.
