Biography
Sébastien M. Popoff is a Chargé de recherche (Research Scientist) at CNRS, based at the Institut Langevin, ESPCI Paris. He specializes in wavefront shaping and the control of light propagation in complex media, particularly optical multimode fibers and scattering environments. His work has led to foundational advances in imaging and signal transport through disordered media, including methods to measure and exploit transmission matrices to transmit coherent images through opaque materials.
