Peter Wiecha

Biography

Peter Wiecha is a permanent CNRS researcher at LAAS-CNRS in Toulouse. He studied physics at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. In 2016 he obtained a PhD on nonlinear optical effects in silicon nanostructures from the Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, followed by post-docs in Toulouse and at the University of Southampton. His research interests lie in the interaction of light and quantum emitters with subwavelength small structures, on optical interactions in assemblies of nanostructures and on applications of artificial intelligence in nano-optics and photonics.
